Our Story
In 1999, BCE was founded to provide physicians and hospitals with a solution to bridge the gap between physician clinical documentation and hospital reimbursement. The philosophy of the three principals – a physician, a hospital finance executive, and a healthcare law attorney – was simple: create a program that aligns incentives, betters patient care, and increases the CMI. Hence, the CliniNotes™ Program was born.

Originally, the CliniNotes™ Program was only available in a hard copy, paper only format. With the advent of electronic health records, comes the second generation of CliniNotes™, an interactive, cloud computing based model designed to meet both the hospital and clinicians needs in the evolving landscape of medical records. Recognizing the synergies that exist between BCE’s programs and Webmedx technology, an agreement was formed to meet the client’s needs.
